About Me

Hello!
I’m Christopher Goodrich, owner and lead instructor at Jardin Yoga Studios. I’m a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance and a certified Thai Yoga Bodywork practitioner. My teaching is rooted in conscious breathing, intentional stretching, and mindful movement.
I completed my advanced yoga studies with Rapha Yoga and Wellness and trained in Thai Yoga Bodywork with Michael Sitzer. I specialize in beginner-friendly Vinyasa and restorative Yin, as well as one-on-one private sessions tailored to your goals. I also offer focused two-hour Thai Yoga Bodywork sessions for deep release and recovery.
Whether you’re building a foundation, refining specific poses, or seeking relief from stress and tension, I meet you where you are and create a practice that supports your next step. I’m committed to ongoing study so I can offer attentive, effective instruction.
Outside the studio, I organize domestic and international yoga retreats that blend accessible daily practice with time to reset, reflect, and explore.
If you’re looking for a supportive, practical path to inner peace and physical ease, I’d be honored to work with you. Let’s connect and begin shaping the practice that serves you best.
“Working with Christopher transformed my relationship to yoga and to my body. In just a few months of private sessions, my chronic shoulder tension eased, my balance improved, and I finally understood how to breathe in a way that calms my nervous system. Chris breaks down complex movements into simple cues that make immediate sense, and he always adapts to how I’m feeling that day. I leave every session feeling lighter, clearer, and noticeably more mobile.

“I started attending online classes after years of inconsistent practice. The difference was immediate. His pacing, precise adjustments (even over Zoom), and attention to breath helped me build strength without aggravating my lower back, and the Yin sequences unlocked hip and hamstring tightness I’d been living with for years. Within six weeks I was moving more fluidly, had fewer afternoon energy crashes, and my stress levels dropped. Chris’s approach is practical, thoughtful, and genuinely effective.”

“Chris’s Thai Yoga Bodywork was the missing piece in my recovery from long days at a desk and weekend running. The combination of compression, assisted stretching, and mindful breathing released deep tension I didn’t realize I was bracing against. After a series of sessions, my stride felt smoother, my posture improved, and the nagging mid-back pain faded. Beyond the physical relief, I noticed a calmer mind and better sleep. Chris creates a safe, focused environment where real change happens.”
